India

In December 2025, we embarked on a trip to India. Our plan was to visit Chennai and Bangalore—two major cities in South India. Chennai in particular gets extremely hot during summer, so we felt December would be a much better time to visit.

As someone who has grown up in India for most part of my life, I have a good understanding of how India operates. I’d like to think I know how people interact, the local food, and the general daily public interactions, which helps a lot whenever we visit. 

Germany

As a family, we decided to visit Germany primarily to experience the famous European Christmas markets. This winter trip was extra special because it was the first time both Opal and I had ever been in such extreme cold. Temperatures dropped all the way to –2°C (28°F), and we not only felt real winter, but we also saw snow for the very first time. It wasn’t just her first snowfall—it was mine too—and that made the whole journey even more exciting and memorable.

Jamaica

In July 2025, we packed our bags and flew off to the vibrant island of Jamaica for a sun-soaked, soul-refreshing escape. We chose the Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton Resort & Spa, an all in-exclusive resort that offered the perfect mix of relaxation and adventure. Before booking, we signed for the Palladium Rewards Program.

In May 2024, we embarked on an unforgettable Alaska cruise, departing from Seattle. This seven-day journey aboard the Royal Caribbean’s Quantum of the Seas was truly one of the most beautiful and memorable trips we’ve ever taken. Since we flew into Seattle a few days early, we had the opportunity to catch up with friends and family in the area.

Cirque Du Soleil

Cirque du Soleil’s Drawn to Life-A Magical Night in Orlando for Our Birthday Getaway. There’s something timeless about the circus an air of whimsy and wonder that transcends age. As a child, I (Aahana) was always captivated by the mystery of circus acts. So when my birthday rolled around, my husband and I decided to chase that nostalgic magic at Cirque du Soleil’s Drawn to Life in Orlando, Florida.
